Why does Y!A allow "questions" that promote racial violence?

It "allows" any question (just about anything can be posted), but since the site is Community Moderated, other users may report posts that are violations. You can click on the Community Guidelines link at the bottom right of any question page (desktop mode) and read what is and isn't acceptable to post here. The unacceptable posts can still be made, but since no one from Yahoo is overseeing the site, it's up to the users to report violations (and it takes several reports to get a post removed). If you are seeing posts that promote racial violence, report them (because if you see them, then not enough users have reported them yet).

As a Level 7 users, it's odd you don't know how the site works (seeing how it typically takes a considerable amount of time to reach that level, which gives a user a lot of time to learn how the site operates).

I'm afraid you're wrong. Yahoo doesn't allow or promote racial violence, as those type of questions are strictly prohibited under the Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. The problem lies with not enough users reporting offensive questions.

They don't. Not enough people report racism so those questions linger much too long.

Because this site is automated and any real enforcement of the posting rules has to be done by the members reporting questions like that.  Yahoo has no interest in moderating this site and that will never change.

Unfortunately, multiple members have to flag these racist questions before they're removed.  That needs to change.  I suggest that you complain to Verizon about it, because they're the owners of Yahoo.

Yahoo does not protect or promote racial violence, the truth is that they does not read our question or answer except after some of us don't report them.

Im asking myself that question. But I just don't thin Yahoo answers have any strict rules in asking questions or which pictures you post in your questions. Everyone is free talking and asking about what they want and that's the main goal of Yahoo
