You silly, silly bastards betrayed the nation and let Boris and the Tories in!
You deserve everything you get!
The pity is that you've dragged US down with you - for what?
A pocket full of mumbles - such are Boris promises, all lies and jest!

If HS2 happens it will go no further than Birmingham.
I live within 8 miles of 2 stations on the East Coast Main Line in the North East. As far as I can see the only benefit for the North East is if you come into some money and want to go shopping in London you go by train.
It's too expensive to use to commute, too expensive to use for a quick holiday or trip, too expensive to use unless you absolutely have to or you have an expenses account to charge it to.
If it is business you would probably use your company car or scheduled flight, if you are big business and you want to clinch a massive deal you would charter a helicopter or jet.
