Did titanic not have any pumps to pump out all the water?

Surely all ships had them in the day

The Titanic did have pumps to remove seawater and they did remove water to the full extent they were equipped.  The crew did a commendable job in managing electric power and removing seawater to the degree the ship was equipped to remove.  With he crew's best effort they could only give the Titanic  a little more extra time, the damage was at great depth providing the seawater great pressure to enter threw a 258 ft. hull plate and rivet rupture. The crew worked on knowing they in the bowels of the ship had very little chance of survival.  The crew knew all was lost and the ship would sink in a very short amount of time, instead of falling into confusion they stayed at there posts knowing that they may only save a few lives by adding only minutes to the delay of an unescapable sinking.

Don't think so. Remember the Titanic was being devoured by an open ocean. There wasn't even time to activate pumps if they were proven useful.

Sure, but they couldn't keep up with the volume of water...

They don't make pumps large enough to pump out the ocean.

They did, and they did slow the water rising, but the gash was just too big and long for them to keep up.

The ship hit an iceberg and there was a hole, therefore no amount of pumping out of water would help.

pumps are only good when the amount of water coming in can be pumped out, once the amount reaches a certain amount then now amount of pumps can save a sinking ship
