It will reliably fail before you want it to!
The top five TV brands are Sony, Samsung, Toshiba, Hitachi, and LG.
Want the best? Pay for it.

It has to be, since they are not repairable.
Mine lasted almost three years. Man, Was i surprised to find out they are modules, Unrepairable at a price less then replacement.
I thought it was strange, that the store did not offer the usual "Repair Guarantee" when I bought it.

I can't find anything online with regard to brand reliability for televisions.
Not even consumer reports.
Apparently these flat panels are so similarly reliable that reliability is not an important issue (as it was in the days of CRT televisions).
All of the best shopping guide sites focus entirely on features and quality of sound and picture
and do not address reliability at all.
I suggest that you do the same.

Reliable yes, quality is low-average.
