One deals with outer space and the other deals with innerspace (atmosphere).

Aeronautical includes being in the atmosphere. Often there really isn't that much of a difference. Same thinwith geology and earth sciences. One of my Diplomas says Bachelor of Science Earth Sciences, but I took the same courses as as some one who graduated 2 Yeats earlier and their diploma said geology

Tulane University turned the department of geology into the department of earth sciences. Now it is the department of earth and environmental sciences for 159r 20/years.
