What would you do if you had to work with someone who is autistic and acts really awkward in every social situation?

I'd behave professionally and be grateful this person was only part of my work life and not someone I have to interact with socially.

I would do my job and avoid engaging him socially other than a friendly greeting.  Besides when you are at work, you should be focused on work, not being social.

If this were a typical workplace, I would perform my normal tasks, however, if I felt this person was compromising my security and/or efficiency on the job, I would be obligated to discuss with by boss or HR for a change.
