Don't vegans know that meat does NOT cause heart attacks?

The studies that claim cholesterol and Saturated fat blocks arteries are old as hell and has been debunked. That it's actually vegetables oils and sugar that build up in arteries and block the flow. Why would the liver send out 80% of cholesterol in your body if it was so dangerous lol cholesterol works as a plaster for damage arteries. Its trying to heal it then once you stop damaging artery's then the inflammation goes down then cholesterol subsides from arteries once the blockage has healed well. Though studies have misunderstood it as saturated fat is causing it when it's trying to heal something.

What you say is true, but high cholesterol levels can trigger this process into overdrive laying down more cholesterol when the blood vessels are just slightly inflamed, especially if they have refined sugar in their diets which in turn causes blood vessel inflammation. In turn this simply builds up causing problems. On the other hand too little and the vessels become weaken, and is likely the cause of why people with low cholesterol levels suffer an increase the risk of hemorrhagic stroke as the vessels are weaken too much.

Also, cholesterol is not just used in this way, it is used as a precursor to the sex hormones and in the photo-synthesis of vitamin D as well as giving cells structural support/flexibility. Cholesterol is important, the human body can create its own but that would not explain why human breast milk has evolved to contain it.

"Don't vegans know that meat does NOT cause heart attacks?"

Some of the more educated/knowledgeable vegans knows that meat in and by itself does not cause hearty attacks. Yes cholesterol can be like plaster, and it does in. However tell those of us that survived from one hundred percent occlusion, that lead to a myocardial infarction coronary event, that cholesterol won't, and can't build up in the arteries.

As someone that eats, please stop spreading the myths you find online.

You're right in a way. Cholesterol is there as a band-aid healing the damage tissue. High inflammation is the cause of this response. Your liver is sending out so much cholesterol because it is trying to heal injuries around the body and inflammation. Vegans think their diet the way to bring down cholesterol. It's not the diet itself. It's because they eliminated junk and processed foods therefore lowered inflammation and the demand for cholesterol for healing has went down. It's the same for a meat eater if you switch to eating meat and veggies and stop eating junk food. You will receive the same results as a vegans arteries. Avoid spiking insulin also. I recommend low carb high fat.

    1. High Cholesterol or hyperlipidemia is not necessarily caused by diet.

    2. Hyperlipidemia is absolutely linked to heart disease. Cholesterol binds to the endothelium of your blood vessels. You are correct in that it builds up on damaged arteries. But that doesn't mean that these lipids are attempting to "heal" them. Cholesterol builds up until it causes a minor immune response.

    3. It does not "subside." Macrophages that respond to this cholesterol build up begin eating cholesterol and die, which releases signals that make more macrophages show up and eat cholesterol until they also die.

    4. This mound of fat and dead cells develops a fibrous cap. This fibrous cap can rupture and cause a blood clot. When this occurs in the coronary arteries, you have a heart attack.

The risk factors are high blood pressure, high cholesterol (no matter the cause) and smoking. Not "vegetables oils"

When you spread false info like this, it kills people.

    Stop killing people.

Ketosis is your friend if you're concerned with blockages. I can eat 10 steaks tonight and my body doesn't store the fat as I'm using it as my fuel and not sugar hahah eat as much fat as you want as long as you fast at times and work out. Your arteries won't have time to store up fat if your body runs from fat and not sugar. ;) Meatttt is gooood!!!! Blocks of butter is life

The keto diet, is only intended as a short term diet. It will NOT remove the deposits of cholesterol in the arteries.
