Can energy exist without motion?

    Of course It can. A hot object has heat energy. An object on top of a cliff has gravitational potential energy. An electron in an electric field has electromagnetic potential energy. All matter has rest mass energy from E = mc^2

    Look : potential energy exists without motion , but for make it effective (working) , motion is needful
