Do most college degrees cost the same amount of money?
Would getting a degree in, for example, communications, math, history, business management, chemistry, engineering all cost the same if somebody would to take the exact same time getting?

Do you mean at the same university? If so, the costs would be similar, but not the same. Some universities actually have different tuition rates for their different divisions. Even when tuition is the same across programs, there are also extra fees associated with certain majors - particularly in the sciences and the fine arts. Textbook costs would also vary. So while it might be relatively close, there would still be some differences.
But if you mean college degrees in general, then they vary considerably in cost from place to place.

NO. Text books for sciences, math, engineering are typically more expensive than texts for other subjects. For science classes, there are lab fees. You may require special equipment, computer software, etc, for some fields of study. Each university has its own tuition, fee schedule, & other costs. Differences can be substantial.

each university sets own tuition and charges [unless there's a controlling board for multiple universities like the U Cal system]. Some degree programs can and do charge higher tuition at some universities -- they've heard of supply and demand, too

Yes for a given university the cost of getting a BS or BA in any subject would be about the same. There are exceptions however. There are some curricula where there are extraordinary numbers of laboratory hours. And lab hours typically cost more than classroom hours.
Understand, the cost of getting a BS or BA varies considerably among universities. And the more elite universities (e.g., Harvard and Stanford) will cost more than the lesser known small schools that have no excellent reputation. But within each school, the BS and BA degrees will be about the same.

Not in the USA. Every university has a different tuition rate. Undergrad studies for a bachelor degree is going to have the same rate of tuition for all majors. Different majors may require different supplies and fees that need to paid. Like lab fees. Or art supplies.
You pay tuition by the year. Tuition can and does go up each year. There isn’t a set one time fee for he degree.

Same university, same cost. University charges you by the semester. So it doesn’t matter if you take 15 credits of fine arts or 15 credits of engineering.
But different universities charges different tuition. Northwest is cheaper than Harvard.

No. Degrees cost varying amounts due to the fact that degrees take varying amount of time to complete, and require different textbooks, sometimes more classes sometimes less.

At the same university, tuition rates are the same regardless of major. But a lab science class is likely to have some additional fees and the textbooks are often more expensive.
