Holocaust tattoos ?

I know that Jewish people with tattoos can not be buried in a Jewish grave. However, what if it was an identification tattoo from the Holocaust?? Just wondering

In a case like that, it’s fine.

My grandparents all had those tattoos and they were buried in Jewish cemeteries.

In fact the rule of non burial due to tattoos is largely overlooked in all cases, not just holocaust survivors.
