how do i get my remote to turn on and off my receiver?
- robertoLv 62 months ago
remote must be tuned to the same RF as the receiver,,instructions ought to come with the set
call up best buy geeks & ask them
the infrared point on the remote end might be dirty
the rubber pad cover might be gummed up and stick as a consequence
might be a new remote is the solution

Without you saying what the make and model of both the remote and the receiver is, no one can help you.

Try pointing it at the receiver and pressing the O-N / O-F-F button.
- and if that doesn't work try adding some real info like make and model of the equipment involved if you expect some real answers OR refer to your owners manual/s troubleshooting guide and pairing remotes if it is an aftermarket remote.

Without examining it in person,
no one can offer a definitive remedy.
