Only if you consider the British Isles as a geographical reference. The Republic of Ireland is not part of the political entity known as the United Kingdom.

Yes, geographically the British Isles are a group of islands in the North Atlantic off the north-western coast of continental Europe that consist of the islands of Great Britain, Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Hebrides and over six thousand smaller isles.

Yes, as is the Isle of Man.  The 'British Isles' is the name of the archipelago of roughly 1000 islands off the North West coast of Europe.  They have been separate from the mainland of Europe since about 6,100BC.

    Norther Ireland is

    Souhtern Ireland (Eire) is not.

Update: The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (to give its full name) refers to the political union between England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

I dare you to go into a Dublin bar, and tell them, that they belong to Great Britain.  You probably won't leave with your teeth.  LOL!!!

The British Isles is a geographical description of a group of islands, not a country. Most are under the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom, but Ireland (one island) is divided into Northern Ireland (a province of the UK) and Eire (a separate republic).
