Are there any “Dollar bills” in America larger than the “100 dollar bill?”?

It was, but not anymore. Big $ bills are great for drug dealers and gangs. Europe has also skipped its 500 Euro bill.

Not for general circulation, but were bigger bills in past.

Not any more. They changed all that during the Nixon years due to drug traffickers.

There was a $500 note in circulation, which I'm sure is still valid if you find one, but they aren't printed anymore.

There are 12 denominations in bills. Seven are still being printed: $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $50, and $100. There are five larger denominations that are no longer being printed. But these are in circulation among collectors and are still considered legal tender: $500, $1,000, $5,000, $10,000, and $100,000

If you tape two $100 bills together does it become a two hundred dollar bill?
