Can I hurl a brick through the window of someone's house because they censored a discussion on a Facebook group?
Basically, on a particular Facebook group about the history of a certain city, someone started a discussion about a well known department store would be closing and even though the comments that followed were constructive and not arguing with each other, later, it said they had turned off commenting for that discussion.
Does this mean I can vent my frustration because of them censoring discussion by throwing a brick through one of their windows?

What does your logical mind tell you ?
Do you (for one moment) think that it would be OK to do something like that ?
And even if your reasoning is of such that it's fine to do so, do you REALLY think you'll get away with something like that ? Be reasonable and think about the consequences. Do you wanna go to jail ? Or do you perhaps like paying hefty fines ?
Even you yourself should know the answer to this one: two wrongs does not make a right.

Only if you apologize after

Sure. Be prepared to face serious legal consequences, though. And in an extreme case, if there was a person behind the window and you could see them, a person on the inside of the house (at least in some states) would be legally justified in shooting you. (Not all states would allow this. But some do.)

You can face legal and civil repercussions for this action. I suggest you better let it go. Remember this is the Internet and discussions can be turned off for any reason.

No you can not do that for that Reason

and exactly how would that make things better? sure you might feel better for a bit, but it wouldn't change things.
besides, it just goes to show you that FB is not a viable place to meet people and discuss things. what kinds of "Friends" stop a conversation?

You can do this. It is illegal. You can and should be arrested and charged with criminal activity and will likely be convicted. You may spend time in jail as you should. Now, just that you CAN do such a foolish thing does not mean you should.

Sure, if you want to be arrested, jailed, then fined for property damage.
Let it go. It's the internet.

As long as your arm functions and you can grasp the brick, you can hurl it through anything. You should be more concerned about your stupidity though. than if you can hurl a brick.
