Amazon seller question?

If I have a professional seller account why does Amazon still take $$$ from every item I sell? Thought they just charged the 39.99 monthly and I keep the rest?

Amazon is sneaky asf. Im starting to not like them... no wonder theyre the most profitable company in the world. The hold my damn revenue for too long....

    PROFESSIONAL SELLING PLAN

Plan on selling more than 40 items a month

    $39.99 monthly subscription fee

Referral fees & variable closing fees

    INDIVIDUAL SELLING PLAN

Plan on selling fewer than 40 items a month

    No monthly subscription fee

$0.99 per item + referral fees & variable closing fees

    Referral Fees

Sellers pay a referral fee on each item sold. Items in several categories have a per-item minimum referral fee (i.e., sellers pay the greater of the referral fee or the per-item minimum referral fee).

    Variable Closing Fees

For each media item that is sold, Individual and Professional Sellers also pay a variable closing fee.

Professional account still has the referral and variable closing fees.

I am sorry the amazon marketplace is not working out for you.
