How do race and gender inequality play a role in the structure of power in the country Cuba?

    Cuba has a communist government.  And generally is ruled by men.  Everyone (except for those in the government & their cronies) is equally poor.  That includes women, as well as the men.  That's the beauty of communism.  Everyone is equally dirt poor.

    isnt cuba communist? anyways there isnt enough money for there to be true inequality but basically only a small portion of the population (usually the white cubans) are very rich, and the majorty are dirt poor(usually the darker cubans)  

    if anything since they freed themselves from the grasp of the united states they have been doing much better. the US is usually the one that pushes social inequality amongst latin american countries
