According to religion, what happens to a person if he dies after eternity has already passed for the universe?

If a person falls into a black hole, he crosses the event horizon after an infinite amount of time passes for the outside universe. But only a short time passes for the infalling astronaut. He will die later when he hits the singularity at the center.

How can he go to heaven if eternity has already passed? Do his friends in heaven wait forever and never see him again? Does Christianity have any opinion on this?

According to reason, how is this question even logical?

The shearing forces before the event horizon of a black hole will tear planets, suns and /anything/ else apart.

Even stripping electrons from the nucleus of atoms.

IOW, a person would be dead long before they fell in.

    • Jim, good point. I agree that Hawking radiation will shrink the BH in a finite time and tidal forces with kill the astronaut. Quantum mechanics comes to the rescue. His friends in heaven will enjoy eternity with him after all.

Technically, an astronaut falling onto a black hole would almost always die long before reaching the centre and probably before she even reached the event horizon, because tidal forces would rip her apart.

    • This is true for star sized black holes. But for a supermassive black hole, tidal forces are small at the event horizon. An astronaut would survive for a short time inside the black hole. But an infinite time would have passed for outside observers.

The truth is that death leads to heaven or hell, and the only way to heaven is through faith in Jesus Christ.

Because we have all sinned against a perfectly holy and righteous God, we all deserve eternal separation from God in hell (Rom. 6:23). However, God loves us so much that He sent His only Son Jesus to die on the cross as our Substitute so we don't have to go to hell. Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose from the grave three days later (1 Cor. 15:3-4). He gives eternal life freely to anyone who simply believes in Him for it. No one can be saved by doing good works. Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone (Eph. 2:8-9).

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life" (John 6:47).

How can a person die after eternity, since eternity posses no limit of time dimension. so a person die because he is subjected to the mortal time of the universe.

We should discuss on the time dimension, of this temporary world and the eternal here after world ,as according to the religious science. Since the question is on religious field.

That depends on which religion you are speaking of.

That dosent seem possible.... Dying after a time period that dosent have an end..

It's a relativity time dilation effect. The astronaut experiences only a few hours before he is crushed and dies. But outside observers would experience infinite time while they watch him fall. This effect has been proven.
This is something worth thinking about from both physics and religion views.

After the universe ceases to exist, there are no more humans, except in Heaven and Hell.

After an infinite time passes for the outside universe, the astronaut would still be falling at the event horizon. This relativistic time dilation. It's strange, but it is a proven effect.

So you're saying you don't know the meaning of "eternity."  I suggest googling it.

    • jeffdanielk2 months agoReport

Eternity is an infinite amount of time. But due to general relativity time dilation, an eternity passes for the outside universe while only hours pass for the astronaut until he reaches the event horizon. This effect has been proven by scientists.
So, what happens to the astronaut's soul then?

None of that can ever happen.

Nobody can be good enough to avoid hell. The truth is that death leads to immediate heaven or hell, depending only on whether the person believed in Jesus for eternal life, or not.

    .

The truth is that Jesus loves you and wants to bless your life freely :) Most of all, Jesus wants you with Him forever, and not in hell. The truth is that every belief except one will lead to eternal torment in the lake of fire for every person. Because nothing pays for our sins except the death and blood of Jesus, the sacrifice of Jesus that is already accomplished by Him . Jesus loves you! The truth is that Jesus is God, and Jesus died on the cross to pay for all of our sins in full, and then Jesus resurrected from the dead. Nothing else pays for our sins, not works, not deeds, not religions. So the only way to heaven and to avoid hell, is by believing in Jesus for eternal life (John 6:47), without adding any of your own works (Romans 4:5). Believe in Jesus to take you to heaven, and you will be in heaven, no matter what, guaranteed. That easy, thanks to Jesus! Tell Jesus that you thank Him that you will be with Him in heaven when you die, because you believe in Jesus! It is too late to be saved, after death

No such "occurrence" is warned about in the Bible.  So the Lord wouldn't let it happen.
