    Who cares what 'google' says.

The word "don" means to wear, to dress in,

or to put on as in an article of clothing.

Eg: He donned his new jacket, and stepped outside.

Different usage. Don also means to put on clothing.

If you're referring to President Trump, it's because he IS orange AND his name is Donald (Don).

If you're not referring to the prez... then never mind.

In this context, it means "head of a crime family" like in the Godfather movies.

The word "don" does not mean "master", it means teacher or lord (as in lord of the manor).

When you refer to orange don you mean Don as a nickname for someone named Donald, not a teacher or lord.
