will boris get brexit done you think?

i'm wondering whether he will get brexit done, the brexit that the british people wanted? and also if he is going to do something to stop the mass migration which is destroying britain.....as a british person i am certainly worried about mass migration from outside the EU.

Brexit has absolutely nothing to do with mass migration from outside the EU

    • There is a connection.  An EU migrant can bring a non EU spouse into the UK far more easily than a British citizen.  Lots of stories of Romanians being paid to bring in Pakistanis.

There is no single 'Brexit' - even those who voted to leave didn't have a single idea of what this actually meant.

The UK needs immigration; the NHS for example wouldn't survive without it. So whatever Brexit actually means, it can't and won't stop immigration.

I read an interesting comment in the aftermath of the Tower Bridge attack. This posited that Usman Khan's Pakistani immigrant parents aren't the kind Brexit would have kept out... But the immigrant Polish chef who fought the attacker with a narwhal tusk WOULD have been kept out of the UK under Brexit conditions. So just slowing intra-European migration won't change immigration in the UK all that much unless your Parliament acts to change the laws that are specific to Britain (and largely based on its former colonial holdings). But since you now appear to have a Tory majority maybe some of those laws WILL change. Guess you could always write to your MP.

We are worried about the same things across the pond. We do seem to have our share of economic refugees. We hope the best for you guys in the UK and we hope that you finally pull it off.

You are obessed and continue to search for and absorb misinformed  far right wing  and racist political extremists properganda......... the ONLY mass immigration which has been going on for decades is from the EU which YOUR parents were part of.....so be careful as they say "people who live in glass houses should not throw stones"

The UK will be out of the EU by the end of January 2020.....Is that the Brexit people voted for or would have liked? No...... however the public are not aware in the main of what agreements the UK/EU had, they are not the people who have to negotiate with EU negotiators who have not and will not 'negotiate' as the EU simply do not want the UK to leave.so they will make it ( as they have) as difficut and as expensive for the UK as they can.....with all this time on your hands you could have researched REAL records instead of asking the same question dozens of times based on extremist/racists  right wing properganda you choose to accept and beleive

It has always been a matter of colour to the asker, which is why I wrote that answer and the ONLY uncontrolled mass immigration is from the EU as the UK had/has no control on that until ( as it stands now) 2021

Boris has got us to the Withdrawal Agreement stage ,which is only  the start of the real journey of the detailed negotiations which will govern our future relationships with the EU

It's the first step ,but at least we're finally about to cross the start line .
