Take 1.25L of 36.0% (w/v) aqueous glycerol.  Add enough water to make 2.5 L

    18 g glycerol/100 mL solution x 2.50 liter x 1000 mL/liter = 450. grams glycerol

Weigh out 450. grams glycerol and dilute to a final volume of 2.50 liters with water.
