A Christmas Story  is mandatory watching in our house......so true, it's Hilarious.

Jingle All the Way is acutally pretty funny...........

there was one called  Deck the Halls,  with Danny Devito and Matthew Broderick about Christmas Light  wars........

all clean, funny comedies for the whole family.

Also the Jim Carrey animated   "Christmas Carol" is  excellent.

It was very well done,  but a little dark in places for really small kids.

and then of course,    "ELF"  with Will Farrell was pretty harmless.

I always stand by Love Actually however it depends on the age group of the family you're suggesting. If its predominately kids the Santa Claus trilogy is quite popular, kid friendly and just a feel-good comedy family really. Love Actually is also a comedy however, more so aimed at an older age group, as it's mature humour that kids might not necessarily understand.

The funniest Christmas movie is probably 'Don't Open Till Christmas' but its definitely not for families
