Did Donald Trump cause Capcom-Tencent to cancel "Monster Hunter Online"?

This was basically the Chinese World of Warcraft. Had Clinton been elected instead, would she have pursued a China first policy like Obama did? Would this have resulted in China being more successful in the video game industry?

Has Trump had any effect on the Chinese movie industry? "The Wandering Earth" is a major breakthrough for Chinese film. Tariffs don't seem to have had much effect on this movie. How about the video game industry though? Are there any indications of a thriving Chinese video game industry?

Nothing seemed to indicate that Trump or his policies had directly resulted in the shutdown of Monster Hunter Online.

It seems that Tencent and Capcom had financial problems in China before Trump was elected. The complicated Chinese release and cancellation of Monster Hunter World in 2018 led to further financial troubles.

They're the Chinese Facebook. Very popular there. Moreover, you know how Google made the Go program that is better than any human? Tencent bought it from them for $300 million.
