Is it possible to buy marijuana without a medical card at a dispensary?

    Possible: Yes.

    Legal: Only were recreational marijuana is legal.

    It depends on the state.  More states are legalizing it all the time.

    So far there are 33 states (and DC) where medical marijuana is legal.  There are 11 states (and DC) where recreational marijuana is legal.

    So far, eleven states have legal recreational marijuana, where anyone over 21 can walk into a dispensary and buy the stuff.  Those states are:

    Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Colorado, Illinois, Michigan, Vermont, Massachusetts, Maine an Alaska.

    It depends on the state that you are looking to purchase in. If your state has legalized medicinal marijuana only, then no. If your state has legalized adult-use (recreational) marijuana, then you can.

    At a medical dispensary?   Not legally.

    At a recreational dispensary?   Yes.
