First credit card ?
Hey guys, I have a friend who is 22 years old. I am trying to help her get on track. She just got her first debit card ever last week from Bank of America.
Is it too soon for her to get a Credit Card? She is a brand new member at Bank of America, she’s unemployed, and doesn’t have a license yet. Would the bank allow her to get a credit card or does she have to use the debit card for a few months to prove she’s responsible??

She can't get a credit card if she's unemployed. She must have income.

Would the bank allow her to get a credit card ?? What do you think? She has no income .. how could she make the payments ? Answer is, she can't.
No job means means no credit cards

Not likely with no job, no matter how long she's had the debit card

to be eligible for a credit card she needs to be able to prove she has the means to pay it back, she has no job no income, she would not qualify for any credit card

The only chance she has is a secured card. Discover is best.
Or a strong cosigner.
Jobs come before credit cards. (full time)
debit cards do not build credit.
