Lauri Törni (a.k.a. Larry Thorne). He was a Finnish soldier during WW2 and despised the Soviets and communism. He fought against the Soviets in Finland, then after Finland's defeat he trained with the Waffen SS and fought the Soviets with the Germans for a short time. After WW2 he eventually made it to the US and his expertise at guerrilla warfare enabled him to join the US Green Berets. He trained US Special Forces and fought in the Vietnam War. He was killed in a helicopter crash in Vietnam in 1965 but he became a legend in the US Special Forces. He's the only man that was a member of the Waffen SS and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
