Is this how normal families act?

I was helping my family carry boxes to my

brother's car. He told if I run into his car,

and scratch "I will f---- beat you." Is that normal?

Apparently, he cares more about his car

then he cares about me. That's my impression.

Your brother was being vulgar. He was also being a total SNOT. I'm surprised your parents didn't call him out for the behavior. He was just warning you to be careful about what you were doing, so that his car didn't get scratched, that's all.
