Math equation help!!!?

I understand how to do these formula problems the dimensional analysis way, but I understand better how to do it the formula way. I know the answer is 0.52 mcg/kg/min for the 1st one and for the second one is 80 ml/hr

1. Milrinone 50 mg in 250 D5W infusing at 9ml/hr. The patient weighs 58kg. How many mcg/kg/min is the patient receiving?

2. The order was to administer Levoquin 500mg in 100 mL of D5W for acute bacterial exacerbation. Infuse IVPB over 75 minutes. Calculate infusion rate.

Update:

Does anyone know how to do it the formula way?

Not sure what you mean by that.

    < 50 mg in 250 D5W  >

Assuming 250 mL is the volume of D5W

    50 mg/250mL*9 mL/hr * 1 hr/60min/58kg*1000 mcg/mg = 0.52 mcg/min/kg

    100 mL/75min*60min/hr = 80 mL/hr
