How much emotional is too emotional?

I recently got to know that I was going through depression but I didn't notice it and I am still thinking that it's not true, I think I am doing fine. (doctor say it otherwise)

But, I have got this thought, when I watch a movie I can feel it, I cry(depending on the scene of course), and if the next scene is a comedy, I laugh too.

Sometimes even if it's a happy moment, I cry.

The thing with the movie is a normal reaction.  Not being aware of your feelings, not empathising with what you are seeing, those are symptoms of depression.  Depression isn't so much being sad as being completely flat.

Many people cry was when laughing or when overloaded with emotion.

Your doctor knows many things that you omitted. Don't expect us to back you up in your thought that you aren't sick.
