What are some good alternative sites similar to Yahoo Answers?

    Quora, Reddit, Facebook's Ask.com, Disqus, thousands of stack exchanges, Wikianswers.

    Google Answers is not active. You can still search it. It is archived.

    Here is a list of question and answer sites.  I still prefer Yahoo Answers to all the others.

    "Good" is subjective. Quora is probably the next most popular. I've not used any of the others (sometimes Reddit is also mentioned, among others).

    Move your question to Entertainment>Polls & Surveys or Computers & Internet>Internet>Other-Internet as it's currently in Yahoo Products>Yahoo Answers and not very applicable to this subcategory (which is for questions about how the site works and the rules here).  You can move your question by clicking Edit>Edit category just beneath your question, then selecting the category in which it is better suited.

    Quora is Similar to Yahoo Answers in a way only there is no Point System

    There are none with a similar format. Quora is the only active site and the format is more discussion and it is highly moderated.

    There used to be a good one called Webanswers, but it went out of business. There's one called Quora, but its rules are way too strict.
