How many calories in a medium sized beet root?

    I wouldn't be too concerned with the number of calories in a medium-size Beetroot as it's the other things you're going to eat with it that could be loaded!

    Counting calories is pointless and tedious. Restriction of calories (not eating when hungry) leads to fat gain, so it's pointless.

    A beet is high in fructose, the thing that actually makes you fat, but the endogenous fructose is mitigated by the high fiber content.

    This is why whole foods are good for you and processed foods are very bad
