Wait until they cross the mine field then use the survivors for target practice.

They really can't stop such an invasion without spending a lot on caring for the babies. Otherwise, the first world country would look pretty bad to the rest of the world. That's the case today, almost.

Easy if you're in the USA

Just stop your military adventures/covert destabilisations that contribute massively to economic hardship for these refugees!

Yup, by building the border wall to keep them out. There is no law anywhere that says the US or any country has to accept in everybody that tries to cross into the country.

Simple, fix the broken incentives in the system.

With a realistic guest worker system, higher levels of immigration that meet our economy's needs for zero and very high skill labor (we tend to have mostly middle skill people), there would be less incentive to try to enter illegally.  Also, fix the asylum law which is broken.

A second major issue is the drug war.  Latin America, Mexico in particular, struggles to develop in part because of the giant rich cartels funded by the US drug war that to date has not eliminated or made difficult to obtain ANY illegal drugs.  They are very easily acquired by anyone with even a modicum of street smarts.  What the drug war has done is made illegal cartels that are richer than their government, which makes Mexico and others tough to live in, creating the incentive for people to want to come to America.  By ending the drug war, the cartels would shrivel and die, and Mexico and Latin America could develop strong economies of their own.
