Why is it wrong to actively deconvert the religious?

It’s evident that religion is harmful, but not many are combating the scourge that is ruining minds. Fantasies of reuniting with loved ones in some hereafter at the cost of caring about this life is wreaking havoc on the world. It’s negligence on a massive scale.

Because any brainwashing is wrong, Einstein.

No, it is NOT evident that religion is harmful. Think again, if you are able. My church does tremendous humanitarian assistance in the world. In fact, it encourages us to get all the education we can afford. Think again.

My church does not teach us to neglect this life nor our loved ones. When will you atheists start using logic and facts?

Sadly, religious beliefs are ingrained into society and trying to deconvert believers would be met with social and governmental sanctions.

Christianity is not based on any type of fantasy and the only scourge that can ruin a mind is separation from God.

You are confusing religion and spirituality. You cannot force people to stop hoping. Religion is just a brand name for how people have hope, but isn't the actual product.

It's not wrong. You'll be doing them a favor.

Why don’t you just try? Most Christians own guns btw.

Religious people see people from other religions and atheists as evil enemies. They are delusional and actually think you are satan's evil little doer lol.
