What would happen if someone with healthy thyroid levels took medication for hypothyroidism?

Taking Thyroxine when you don't need it simply causes your own thyroid to stop producing as much throyoid stimulating hormone resulting in hypthyroidism. Until the thyroid adjusts there would be symptoms of hyperthyroidism including a racing heart, diarrhoea, insomnia, rage...

Over time, a person with healthy thyroid would begin to suffer the symptoms of hyperthyroidism (weight loss, rapid heartbeat, insomnia, heat intolerance, shortness of breath) if they were taking hypothyroidism medication.
