New RTX 2060 or used GTX 1080?

NEED HELP! I have ryzen 2700x as processor and 34" ultrawide monitor lg34wk500... no power supply yet

    You shouldn't buy one part at a time. You also should state your country for shopping and all the parts you have now. Probably the RTX 2060 new is the better choice, but do check the exact card for the resolution support.

    Depending on the game, GTX 1080 is a little better, but is used and takes an extra 50 watt power supply at equal load.

    RTX 2060 new is the better choice, but depending upon the game, GTX 1660 may be good enough.

    Video card must do the max resolution of that monitor.  Must be 2560 x 1080.  Check specs on those video cards. Even though card might be able to do much higher, its driver must be able to send that monitor's native resolution.
