Is it wrong to 'fake' love? Like if you don't love someone but you want to get along with them?

Is it ok? Is it wrong?

It's totally wrong to pretend to love someone. Would you like that if someone made out that they loved you and you finally found out about that. How would you really feel.

Its wrong because it is dishonest. Would you like it if someone faked loving you? Would you feel hurt MORE by that than if they told you straight out they didn't feel that way?

I think that fraud is always wrong.  Wrong because it can lead to hurt either for you or for someone else.  I hate makeup, wigs and countless other fake apparatus.  If you love a person it is like "Shallow Hal".  You see something other than the outward trappings.

Is it "ok"? Ok with whom? Wrong to whom? It's hurtful, shallow, immature, and dishonest, is that what you mean?

It is probably the biggest and most hurtful lie that can be told. It will also be one that can very easily be discovered for what it is.
