Can I not get sick again for a while after having mono?

I was sick with mono from the middle of September to the middle of October this year and I know that once you’ve had mono, it’s fairly unlikely you’ll ever get it again but what about other sicknesses? Do I have a sort of temporary immunity to most viruses now? This might be a sort of dumb question but I’m just curious.

You are right about mono - once you gain immunity, it is unlikely to ever return.  However, while you were fighting the virus that causes mono (Epstein-Barr), the infection actually weakened your immune system as a whole.   By now, your immune system should have returned to normal with no advantage or disadvantage of having had mono.

I doubt you're immune to viruses. You just haven't been exposed to anything or nothing which impacted your immune system
