Calculating bi weekly pay?

I earn $17.50/h. I work a 40-hour week but she also usually works six hours overtime I am paid time-and-half overtime. I am paid bi-weekly and my deductions amount to 30% of my gross pay. Calculate my bi-weekly take-home pay.

    $17.50 * 40 = $700 or $1400.00 bi-weekly

    $17.50 * 1.5 = $26.25 (overtime rate)

    $26.25 * 6 = $157.50  or $315.00 bi-weekly

    Gross pay = $1400 + $315.00 = $1715.00

    Deductions = .30 (30%)

    $1715 * .30 = $514.50

    $1715.00 - $514.50 = $1200.50 bi-weekly take home amount

    Look at your pay stub. You said "I earn....". Oh, but then you said 'SHE also usually works....' - do your own homework.
