It is possible for a boy/man who's first name is John to have a brother who's middle name is John, right?

    It's definitely possible. It's even intentional if a parent does that.

    I've seen that, although a different name.

    Older brother had a name... and younger brother was given that name as the middle name... and dad had that same name as the older brother... and the older brother went by his middle name different from both.

    Yeah.

    It wasn't "John" though.

      Sometimes, the third brother can have their father's other name with part of that brother's name being different.
