Anxiety getting worse?

Ever since i started going to therapy and acknowledging my anxiety, i feel like it’s getting worse/ more noticeable . is that normal?

    it might, if you're not doing the WORK it takes to make life improvements. And if you're going to therapy and if your therapist isn't giving you work to do, then what's the point?

    there is endless anxiety self-help info online and also guided meditations on YouTube to use freely

    Therapy doesn't work overnight. Also, we don't know what's happening with your therapy. For one thing, you might not be comfortable talking about your problem, in which case it will probably get easier as you get more experience with your therapist.

    There's a number of simple things that can help with anxiety. Stress reduction is something we all need. 

    A good habit - responding to moments of stress by taking at least two slow, deep breaths though the nose and slowing down your breathing, 

    Here's an article by a therapist who talks about responding with "mindful breaths" helps with the thought processes  that are associated with anxiety.
