If you have kids, does your student loan payment go down if you’re on the Pay As You Earn plan?

My car was sitting for 2 days.

Income based repayment plans vary - pull your repayment agreement out and read the terms to see whether your repayments are based on Adjusted Gross Income or Taxable Income. If Adjusted Gross, then no. If Taxable, then yes, because your number of exemptions reflects your household size.

I know nothing about student loans.

I do know about cars and batteries.

    So

Are the terminals in battery clean?

Is there water in each cell about an inch from the top?

    If yes

Then you need a new battery.

    Wait, it can get worse.

Alternator or starter could be bad.

I truly hope your degree isn't in communications.

Probably unless you make significantly more money after having kids.

Your car has nothing to do with anything.

Dear, you seem to be unclear on the concept here.  Either you're asking a question about student loan repayments, or you're asking one about your car.

And you need to finish writing your questions, so people will know exactly what you're asking.
