pc wont start  changed the power supply  still not starting  what could be the problem?

    You forgot to check if all plugs are in.  Or there could be some other cause.  Cannot guess much from only "pc" and no maker or model number or age or condition or what happened just before this non-start.

    Source(s): I swapped RAM strips and knocked off the power plug to MB that powers up the CPU. And this after 3 decades building and repairing PC boxes and a few laptops!

    Since you've ruled out the power supply it could be... literally any other piece of hardware in the computer.

    Bad motherboard, bad RAM, unseated RAM, loose cables, bad video card. Heck, it could be you forgot to plug in the power button on your case.
