How come all the dem fact witnesses testified they never saw a crime, but all their opinion witnesses today said they saw a bunch of crimes?

Update:

DAVID- Not one of today's "witnesses" were a legal expert. They were just opinion people like you see on cable news shows.

Because the "opinion witnesses" knew more about what is a "crime". The "fact witnesses" knew what they saw, but didn't necessarily know whether those things were "crimes".

Because the fact witnesses, as their name suggests, just report what they saw and heard.  They aren't legal experts so they aren't qualified to speak on the legal merits.  Although they all did say it seemed wrong and out of the norm.

The legal experts who spoke to day are experts in the matters of law so they are qualified to speak on the legal merits of the facts presented by the witnesses and evidence.
