    if you follow the sit-sat model for sh-it rather than a regular form (****-shitted).  There does not appear to be a consensus on this one.

    Shut is a word and Shat may form part of the name of a person.

    Yes, and yes. It is the past tense of sh*t. There is no reason for it not to be in any dictionary.

    Oikoo is correct: it is generally understood. The word was used in a poem by the great poet W. H. Auden in 1965, so it has some legitimacy.

    It is, in that it is generally used and understood. It has a way to go before it is in all the dictionaries.
