Do you think a modern version of Last Of The Summer Wine could be succesful, or would it be too old-fashioned to have a chance?

    No I don't think it would be successful It was a brilliant program and it is best to go out on a high.

    I doubt it, as modern re-makes are seldom successful, partly due to audiences making comparisons to the original format and cast. Jmo.

    Hard to say, but it would probably fail..... not because it's old fashioned, but because the people at the TV companies these days who hold the purse strings and call the shots on what gets made are more interested in stupid diversity cr*p + class warfare nonsense + other Politically Correct stuff than making entertainment that people find actually entertaining
