is the air temperature and
is the body temperature at the time of death. John Doe was found murdered at midnight in his house; the room temperature was 73°F and his body temperature was 93°F when he was found. When was he killed? Assume that the normal body temperature is 98.6°F. (Round your answer to two decimal places.)

You say this is a word problem. That may be your problem. It is simple arithmetic not a word problem.
Simply put your numbers into the equation and compute. You will not learn if you do not do things for yourself, and this is ONLY simple arithmetic.
Where are you being educated that uses something as dated as degrees Fahrenheit?
