Is it a good idea to become a CNA before going to Nursing school?
I was thinking about becoming a CNA before I attend a nursing school, and I want to know if anybody thinks that this is a good idea.

It might be. If you get a CNA job, your employer may pay part of your further education.

It’s a great idea, but not a necessity. You can also become a PCT, which requires no certification, but just requires that you be in nursing school. Don’t let being a CNA ever interfere with your grades. If you do an internship one summer, that’s good too.
