How can I become a preschool teacher in the state of Ohio without having to go to a community college or university?

If by "preschool" you just mean "day care for toddlers and 3/4-year-olds" then you can be hired by a day care center without a degree. It will really depend on what the owner prefers.
But any real educational institution purporting to offer a pre-kindergarten education of any quality is not going to hire you without a qualification in early childhood education and possibly even licensing/certification -- whatever the state might require.

Many day cares and pre-school don’t require an Associate degree or Bachelor degree.
Most don’t. Have you looked for jobs and what they required.
