How can I become a preschool teacher in the state of Ohio without having to go to a community college or university?

    If by "preschool" you just mean "day care for toddlers and 3/4-year-olds" then you can be hired by a day care center without a degree.  It will really depend on what the owner prefers.

    But any real educational institution purporting to offer a pre-kindergarten education of any quality is not going to hire you without a qualification in early childhood education and possibly even licensing/certification -- whatever the state might require.

    Many day cares and pre-school don’t  require an Associate degree or Bachelor degree. 

    Most don’t.  Have you looked for jobs and what they required.
