Would like to be able to do London/Amsterdam/Florence and Paris in 9 days. Is it reasonable?
Flying into London next May and was trying to spend 2 nights in each location. London/Amsterdam/Florence and Paris. Is is doable? Has anyone done this itinerary? Any advice is highly appreciated.. Thanks in advance.

Don't be daft. Pick one. You have only a week.

Sounds like you wont have enough time to explore each city. Dont rush and take your time.

No - you'd spend at least half a day travelling between each, so you'd get too little time anywhere to actually experience the city

It's doable, but pointless. You'd be able to see two or three things in each city. If you fly to Europe from the US, it's an overnight flight. You don't get much chance to sleep- they dump you out at about 1 am your time. That means you either sleep once you get to your hotel, or you walk around for a bit and then collapse. So that's day 1 in London. If you spend day 2 in London, then on day 3, you go to the airport early and sit around for your flight to Amsterdam. You have half a day in Amsterdam- that's day 4. Day 5 you spend at least half of it in the airport again to fly to Florence. Half a day in Florence. Day 6 in Florence (I spent a month there and didn't scratch the surface). Day 7 back to the airport to fly to Paris. Train in from the airport, taxi to get to your hotel. Less than half a day in Paris. (I've spent about 1 week a year in Paris for years, and there's still stuff I haven't done). You can look at the Eiffel tower and have dinner. Day 8 in Paris- dash madly around to see a few of the sights- most of the time spent in transit. Day 9- back to the airport 3 hours before your flight.
Pick one or two cities and spend some time. Think of it not as your only trip to Europe but your FIRST trip to Europe.

It's barely possible, but not a good idea given the distances and travel time. You're better off cutting out Florence and doing three nights each in the rest of them. There's more than enough to see and do in each city.

Your going to need more than Nine days. Day 1 will be taken up with travel from wherever your home is. Taxi to the Airport, waiting around the airport, Flight to London, Going through customs at London, Bus into the City. That is going to take one day and the same coming back. Not even counting the travel time between cities.
If you want to spend TWO FULL days in each city your going to need 13 days to do it.

Depends what you mean by ‘do’ what floats your boat? You could do the travel between these places easily, see a few sights, go out for dinner, walk about a bit.. but.. you could also spend a day in the natural history museum and science museum in London, spend a day shopping and miss all the touristy things. Same for the other cities. If you plan avoiding museums and galleries, then you’d be fine.
