Is uneducated another word for dumb? ?

    Yes and no. It's used in a negative way to insinuate that the person is dumb, however it doesn't necessarily mean dumb.

    A dumb person would know dictionaries exist but wouldn't think to use one.

    An uneducated person might not know dictionaries exist, but if they did know, they would work out quickly how to use one.

    No! Uneducated means that you have not been taught in specific areas or no areas at all. However, if given the opportunity or tools to learn the material you could.

    Un-Intelligent means that you are incapable of learning the matter at hand.

    Let's first examine the word "uneducated" mayhap a relation to dumb. Okay do you mean person was not educated at your school or person was brainwashed.
