The gimmicks that he has came up with for some wrestlers some of them were terrible ideas.

Every promoter is different and look for different things in a wrestler. Ole Anderson did not see anything in the undertaker. Vince knows what he wants.

You’re giving Vince a lot of credit there, maybe too much, I know back in the 90s in the attitude era Jim Ross was in charge of talent relations and actually was the one signing names like Austin, foley, edge.
I do think Vince gets too much crap, if all he liked was big sweaty men then why wasn’t Ryback champion or why hasn’t Braun strowman won the big one, even Rusev is a big guy who the crowd likes and yet, he hasn’t been rocketed to the moon by Vince McMahon the way others you mentioned have.

Oh Vince knows talent. He just doesn't like pushing everyone and making them all top stars.

You couldn't pay me to watch his product, but one of new colleagues worked for McMahon in the XFL league office. His comments about Vince: he's a workaholic (easily works 80-90 hours a week), quiet in meetings, knows more about his business than anyone else (he reads research but also has a sense of what his customers want), and has a very different private persona than what you see on television. His kids are serial idiots who couldn't manage a 2-car parade. Constantly thinks about what the next 3/6/12 months will look like.

He’s got a good eye for talent. He just doesn’t know how to use them. Look at Braun Strowman. Braun Strowman was getting good reactions two years ago. What do they do to him? Make him lose to Brock and then turn him heel. Why would you do that to your top face? It makes no sense.

Most of the people you named above not only wrestled for other Professional Wrestling Promotions but had already names for themselves in other places. When someone has starred in other Professional Wrestling Promotions, how hard is it to make them stars in WWE?
You cite being a fan of AJ Styles as being a distinction? I was a Fan of AJ Styles for more than a Decade before he signed with WWE. Anyone who saw AJ Styles in The United States, Europe or Asia knew he was what he says he is, phenomenal.
As for Bray Wyatt, many of us knew about his Amateur Wrestling and Football Background. The fact that Black Jack Mulligan is his Grandfather, Mike Rotundo is his Father, Barry Windham is one of his Uncles doesn't exactly hurt either.

Listen to Dean Ambrose on Chris Jericho's podcast and you'll know. Vince is a genius there's no denying that, but that doesn't mean he's immune from the silly mistakes he has made in the past.
